We are thrilled to announce that Jacob's submission, "MethylSeg: Context-Aware Methylome Segmentation Enables Robust PMD Detection in Array and WGBS Data", has been accepted for a 20-minute talk at ISMB 2026 as part of the HiTSeq Track!

Partially methylated domains (PMDs) are large-scale epigenetic features critical to cancer and cellular aging, but identifying them across diverse experimental platforms has remained computationally challenging. Jacob's work introduces MethylSeg, a context-aware methylome segmentation method that enables robust and reproducible PMD detection across both DNA methylation arrays and whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) data.

Congratulations, Jacob!
